The Lone Tree

I’d just spent a couple of days exploring Anglesey and decided to head into North Wales on the way home and try to find the Lone Tree near Llanberis.  I got lucky this time as I’ve heard it’s a very busy location and had the place completely to myself.  I spent a couple of hours in the middle of the night capturing some night shots then after grabbing some sleep in the van, I returned for the dawn.  What a gorgeous place to watch the day begin.  I sat with the dogs watching the sun rise and colour the clouds, then had 15 minutes where the wind eased  and the reflections returned.  A very often photographed tree but one I’m glad I managed to capture for myself and feel lucky to have captured it on my first visit.  I’ll be back to explore again though as I’m growing to love my trips to this beautiful place.
