Llanddwyn Core

Description

One of my favourite places to see the Galactic Core of the Milky Way is Anglesey.  Here lies a number of amazing locations to see the Core rise and move across the sky.  This is one of the best and is called Llanddwyn Island.  The beautiful lighthouse, the Llyn Peninsula and mainland Wales over the Menai straights and the Galactic Core on the horizon all add to up an amazing shot.  This was taken in August where the core is in the perfect position to be photographed behind the lighthouse
