Kirkjufellsfoss lies right next to the magnificent Kirkjufell on the Snaefellsnes Peninsular around 2.5 hours north of the capital, Reykjavik.  A must visit place when in Iceland this beautiful waterfall is somewhere I love to visit both day and night.  It can be particularly spectacular at night with the aurora dancing overhead
