‘Our Aurora’

The night I got to show my wife the Northern Lights for the first time.  We were staying at Grundarfjordur after a 1700 mile road trip around Iceland and the signs were good for the Aurora Borealis to put on a show for us so we drove high into the mountains on the Snaefellsnes Peninsular and found somewhere to park and watch the spectacle.  -19 with the windchill but we barely felt it as we watched the aurora dance across the sky.  A night to never forget, made even more special by being able to witness it with my wife.
