Description
The first night I have visited this amazing place. I’d been in Cornwall and took the opportunity to call in at Durdle Door on the way home. All the stars aligned, the weather, moon and Galactic Core were set to be in the perfect position for a shot so a visit to the beach with my camera a must. This is a 12-shot panorama showing the Core over the English Channel. Over the face I got a very lucky shooting star and the constellations of Scorpius and Sagittarius can clearly be seen along with Mars (left) and Saturn (over the core). Within the Core, 26000 light years away lies Sagittarius A*, a super massive black hole and the very centre of our Milky Way Galaxy. A beautiful night on the beach, just me and my dog Floyd and this amazing view. What a night.
