‘Crummock Nightscape’
A slight mist forms over the mirror calm lake.  Grasmoor, Whiteless Pike & Rannerdale Knots to the left and Melbreak, Red Pike and in the far distance Haystacks, to the right as the Milky Way arches up across the sky above Crummock Water.
In the sky just above Melbreak, Scorpius (The Scorpion) can be seen and to the left of this the Galactic Core of our Milky Way galaxy and the constellation of Sagittarius just above Haystacks and Rannerdale Knots.   Moving up the arch you can then see Aquila and above this Ophiuchus and Hercules.  Just above Grasmoor you can see Delphinus (The Dolphin), a shooting star and Cygnus (The Swan).
