Description
Blea Tarn lies up a beautiful meandering valley, high up in the Langdales. Blea Tarn is an iconic Lake District view and enjoyed by many in the day but at night, the view is something very special. In this photograph I left my camera taking photo after photo on a tripod standing in the tarn, then I walked back to my car and drove up and down the road trying to create some interesting light trails. This 20 second exposure shows me driving towards Great Langdale as another car drives up through the cattle grid. In the sky the Double Cluster and Perseus can also be seen above the Langdale Pikes of Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark and Pike O’Stickle.
