To me there is no better place than Buttermere. I hold it dear to my heart and visit as often as life allows. To me it doesn’t get much better than to stand on the shore of Buttermere and watch the sun rise from behind Honister, Fleetwith & Haystacks as the lake lies mirror calm in the dawn sun. Such a beautiful and calm place to spend some time and particularly special deep in the night or as in this shot, the beginning of a new day. Never disappoints
