Description
‘Glencoe Winter Milky Way Arch’
A dash of aurora, some zodiacal light, our sister galaxy Andromeda and a sky full of winter constellations over Buachaille Etive Mor.
A night spent walking Glencoe with cameras & dogs in tow. One of my all time favourite places to visit and spend a night or two. To the right you can see the Kingshouse Hotel and cars driving down the main road through Glencoe. Above the hotel, Cygnus moves across the sky as the aurora shows itself. Above this Cassiopeia points to our sister galaxy Andromeda, the most distant object visible to the naked eye, 2.537 million light years away. Shining from behind Buachaille Etive Mor (The Buckle) some beautiful Zodiacal light and above this, The Seven Sisters (Pleiades) and to the left one of the most recognisable constellations, Orion (The Hunter)
This is made up of a number of separate images stitched together in panorama which means it is incredibly detailed with a very high resolution and looks amazing large. Available framed in Oak, Black, Ultra HP Acrylic photo print or a HD Metallic print under acrylic glass
All prints, mounts and frames are handmade locally helping support other small local businesses
