The Pleiades Star Cluster

This is the Pleiades star cluster, also known as Messier 45 or The Severn Sisters.

Pleiades lies 444.2 light years from earth and had a radius of 17.5 light years and lies in the constellation of Taurus (The Bull).  Its a stunning collection of stars and a great target when starting out learning deep space photography
