Rays on the way to the Caves

Sometimes in the Lake District you get very lucky and wake to an inversion. The valleys all fill with cloud and being on a summit of a mountain feel like being on an island amongst the clouds.  Here I woke slightly too late to make it to the tops but walked through the inversion on the way to Rydal Caves on Loughrigg and had the treat of crepuscular rays shining through the Larch on my way up.  A beautiful early spring morning, the Lake District looking beautiful and the views stunning.
