Description
Well I never would have thought I’d ever have a night like this. I’d travelled 1300 odd miles to finally stand on the black sand beach at Stokksnes and see the Vestrahorn for myself. This was 2/3rd of the way through the best show of aurora I’ve ever seen and the view was so ‘big’ that even with a 14mm lens I had to do multiple shot panoramas while running in and out trying to capture the view reflected in the wet sand. I spent a few hours doing this and ended up colder than I’ve ever been knee deep in the North Atlantic in -6 for 6 hours. I loved every second of it….
