Glencoe late winter Landscape/Astro Course

March 9th - 14th 2026

5-Day Astro & Landscape Photography Course

Glencoe & The Scottish Highlands

Join me in the heart of Glencoe and the surrounding Highlands for five unforgettable days and nights dedicated to capturing the magic of Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes. This immersive workshop is designed for photographers who want to refine their skills in both landscape and astrophotography.

By day, we’ll explore Glencoe’s dramatic valleys, rugged peaks, and serene lochs, as well as nearby highlights such as the vast, atmospheric expanse of Rannoch Moor, the winding beauty of Glen Etive, the tranquil shores of Loch Leven, and the sweeping vistas around Glenfinnan. We’ll also have the opportunity to photograph two of Scotland’s most iconic castles—Castle Stalker, set on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, and Kilchurn Castle, dramatically situated on the banks of Loch Awe. The itinerary will remain flexible, allowing us to adapt to the best weather and light conditions each day, ensuring that every location is captured at its most atmospheric.

By night, we’ll head to carefully chosen locations that boast some of the darkest skies in the UK, perfect for capturing breathtaking starscapes, the Milky Way, and—if conditions allow—even the elusive Northern Lights, all set against the stunning Highland backdrop.

Alongside our time out on location, each attendee will also benefit from personal 1-2-1 editing sessions, where we’ll dive into Lightroom and Photoshop to refine your images, explore advanced post-processing techniques, and bring the very best out of your captures.

Whether you’re looking to expand your technical skills, boost your creativity, or simply experience the magic of the Highlands with your camera, this workshop will leave you with a portfolio of unique images and memories that last a lifetime.
